A Year of Progress at Pat Morris Racing

As we move into a new season, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been a very positive year for the yard.

During the past year, the team enjoyed 19 winners across turf, all-weather, and National Hunt racing, alongside a number of consistent placed performances. In total, the yard earned £293,000 in prize money, including bonuses, which reflects both the versatility of the horses in training and the consistency of results throughout the season.

Operating with a small but carefully managed string, we were pleased to see strong overall consistency, with 50% of our runners finishing in the first four during 2025. This is something we place great importance on, as it reflects our approach of placing horses to their strengths and steadily improving them.

One of the standout achievements was Tasever being crowned All-Weather Horse of the Year for the 2024/25 season, a result we were extremely proud of and a testament to the hard work put in behind the scenes.

Beyond the results themselves, the past year has been about building solid foundations — refining how we operate day to day, strengthening the team around the horses, and continuing to create a professional and enjoyable environment for everyone involved with the yard.

Opportunities to Join the Yard

Alongside reflecting on last year’s successes, we are also looking ahead.

As the yard continues to grow in a measured and sustainable way, there will be opportunities for owners and syndicates to join Pat Morris Racing over the coming months.

We operate with a small, manageable number of horses, allowing each one to receive individual attention. Opportunities may include:

  •  Sole ownership
  •  Private partnerships
  •  Syndicate or lease share involvement

In addition, there are flexible lease options available on horses currently in the yard, offering a straightforward way to get involved without a long-term commitment. Details vary by horse, and we are happy to discuss options on an individual basis.

In some cases, we are also able to source and purchase horses to suit different budgets and ambitions.

We are conscious that value for money is important. Our training and ownership costs are competitively priced, offering a professional service while remaining accessible and transparent.

At this stage, our focus is on building the right fit — matching horses, owners, and syndicates to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

The Pat Morris Racing Club

Building on the momentum of last year, we’re pleased to share that the Pat Morris Racing Club is now up and running.

The racing club has been created to offer a straightforward and accessible way to be involved in racehorse ownership, particularly for those who would like to experience the sport without the long-term commitment of traditional ownership or syndicates. It allows members to feel closely connected to the yard while keeping everything simple and transparent.

We’d also like to welcome everyone who has already joined the Pat Morris Racing Club. The early support has been greatly appreciated, and it’s been encouraging to see the enthusiasm around the club since its launch.

Membership is available for a one-off fee of £200, with members involved across a small team of horses currently in training, including:

  • Street Life
  • Tasever
  • Wyverm
  • Brian the Snail

Club members receive regular updates via WhatsApp, including runners, results, and general news from the yard throughout the season.
With the horses already in training, there is every chance that we could have our first runners as early as this weekend, marking the beginning of what we hope will be an enjoyable and engaging period for club members.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to the year ahead.

Kind regards,

Pat Morris Racing
